On 6 April 2026, the Head of the Operative-Technical Agency of Georgia – Mr. Beka MAMARDASHVILI pursuant to the Article 24 of the Law “On LEPL Operative-Technical Agency of Georgia” has submitted generalized and statistical Annual Report on the activities of the Agency throughout 2025 during the closed hearing session of the Parliamentary Trust Group.
Mr. MAMARDASHVILI reviewed cyber-attacks directed against Critical Informational System Subjects together with response measures and preventive actions undertaken on behalf of the Agency. The Trust Group Members in generalized manner have been also briefed regarding statistics of the Covert Investigative Activities implemented by the Agency in course of the Reporting Period.
The remaining part of the Hearing was dedicated to the introduction of the OTA’s efforts related to assuring relevant State Institutions with necessary information and communication technologies and services, dynamics of the Border Protection Systems development and support of Nuclear/Radiological Threat Reduction Systems.
