On 08-10 June 2026, the Delegation of the LEPL - Operative-Technical Agency of Georgia (the OTA) led by the Agency Head - Mr. Beka MAMARDASHVILI visited the United States of America.
In course of the Visit, the OTA Delegation met counterparts at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) within the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) that constitutes the core agency with a mission to protect national critical infrastructure from physical and cyber threats to ensure the security, resilience, and reliability of essential services. Through the Joint Cyber Defense Collaborative (JCDC), CISA fosters partnerships with industry, international governments, federal agencies, and state and local governments focused on operational collaboration, information sharing, cyber defense planning, and cyber defense guidance to reduce cyber risk to critical infrastructure.
Within the framework of the Meeting, Georgian and U.S. Sides have discussed matters related to cyber threat intelligence sharing and whenever necessary, coordinated incident response. In addition, the Parties have also expressed readiness to deepen their partnership to strengthen cyber defense and resilience together.
